2017 marked the 150th anniversary of the Shipping Forecast. The names and terminology used in the forecast read like a poem. Using typography and imagery this book seeks to illustrate the forecast in a way that will resonate with seafarers on many shores. Contains, letterpress, linocut, halftone photographic images, collage and hand stitching/knots. Red cloth clamshell box housing 32 page book, each one bound using vintage nautical charts.
