Fine bindings: from Britain's best bookbinders

Bookbinding is alive and well in Britain and British bookbinders are in demand all over the world.

Our small but growing collection of bindings includes work by three of Britain’s most respected binders; Mark Cockram, Kate Holland and Lori Sauer (born in the USA but now working in Wiltshire), as well as work by the respected bookbinding tutor David Mills.

The Wyvern Bindery is one of London’s most vibrant workshops and we are pleased to have commissioned them to bind a copy of the Old School Press’s ‘A Long Story’ by Andrew Motion for us. From time to time we are also lucky enough to stock books from Sangorski & Sutcliffe who have been binding books in London since 1901.
